EEE Conference

Future generations depend on present decisions!

As the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) has closed, End Ecocide on Earth is born – as the whole world is affected by ecocide. Would you like to learn more about Ecocide and how to end it?

We warmly invite you to join us for our End Ecocide on Earth conference on October 13th in the premises of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in the Brussels European Quarter.

During the conference, a number of well-known speakers and experts will discuss ecocide. Some topics include the history of ecocide, what it means and topics that really matter – the relationship between ecocide and indigenous rights, environmental security, justice, climate change and others. The conference also provides an opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in the legal area – the Charter of Brussels and amending the Rome StatuteNeedless to say, it will also be a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people from across Europe and share inspiring conversations!

This activity was made possible due to the support from the European Union’s Youth in Action programme. The views expressed in this article are only the organisers’ and don’t reflect the position of the European Union.
